I led the visual evolution of our retail footprint—reimagining the store build, textile selection, and overall 'look and feel' to move the brand into its next era. My role sat at the critical intersection of aesthetics, operations, and finance: I partnered with architects and operations teams to ensure floorplans were as functional as they were beautiful, all while maintaining strict cost-control for franchise owners. As the lead on over half of these rollouts, I acted as the primary bridge between cross-functional teams and vendors, managing timelines from site selection to the final flip of the 'Open' sign.

In the QSR world, the menu is the ultimate brand touchpoint—it is a strategic map where design directly drives profitability. Over the past nine years, I have led the evolution of our menu systems, treating the grid as a science rather than just a layout. Working alongside research vendors to analyze customer habits and product performance, I’ve managed a biennial cadence of testing and updates to ensure our brand remains competitive and our offerings stay fresh.Menus are a personal sweet spot for me; I thrive on the discipline of the grid, but I excel at knowing exactly when to 'break' it to draw the eye and influence a sale. By balancing high-level creative direction with data-backed placement strategy, I ensure that every menu update is not just a design refresh, but a high-performing tool that increases average check and streamlines the ordering experience.

My approach balances visual evolution with the gritty realities of global sourcing and inventory management. Whether I’m designing a new line of cups or a limited-edition sandwich wrap, I ensure the brand remains cohesive while allowing individual pieces to push their own creative boundaries.In an environment where we order 90,000 units at a time, I operate with a 'every penny counts' mindset. I manage the delicate tension between design innovation and cost-efficiency; if a design choice adds a cent to the unit cost, I ensure it earns two cents back in consumer perception. From navigating the technical limitations of various substrates and printing methods to managing seamless rollouts during price and stock fluctuations, I ensure that the brand stays elevated without compromising the bottom line.
